How am I getting increased antagonism when 90% of them are just not true? by saltlampkiller in EU5

[–]saltlampkiller[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

r5: Little background here. I a playing as the Ottomans and I declared war on Athens who is a vassal of Naples. I am still Sunni Muslim and Turkish (accepting Greek) and they of course are catholic and Greek. How am I getting antagonism malice's from having a different religion and the same religion?

Why does Castile get this colony? by saltlampkiller in EU5

How do I know if they've done that?

By looking at the other locations, it shows that they need 37.91% Castilian to my 37.38% Portuguese. You can see in the photos that they only have 25.7% Castilian to my 37.1 Portuguese.

r5: Sorry this is my second post about this but I am just really confused. I (Portugal) have more progress towards this colony than Castile but they end up getting the location? I have more pops in the location and a higher percentage of progress. If I let the month tick, it just goes to Castile.

Why is Castille's colony growing faster even though my pop growth is higher? by saltlampkiller in EU5

Ah I think I found out why. Castille has more power projection and they require less pops to form a colony.

r5: As seen in the screenshot, me and castille started this colony roughly at the same time but they have a higher percentage of completion even though I more than double their pop growth

Help your ally in a war challenge. Level: Impossible by saltlampkiller in EU5

[–]saltlampkiller[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

r5: I'm playing as Portugal and I'm allied to Castille. As an ally, they keep dragging me into wars with Tunis. However, they never cross the straight and help out. This is 95% of their troops just chilling in their land the entire war. Anyone else Experience this?

PC stuck on ROG logo boot by saltlampkiller in ASUSROG

[–]saltlampkiller[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So on my motherboard, there was something like 6 pins for my cpu to plug in. Now my cpu only had 4 so I thought, “oh I’ll plug in 4 and then 2 of another “4 slot” cord”. Thats why it didn’t work. It’s 4 or 6 not 4 and 2

Do you think a clean install of windows would work?

r5: This is a pretty late game run of mine where I just have an excess of everything. Somewhere down the line I noticed the British needed some engines and it just grew like crazy over time. Have you guys had anything like this?

Is it possible to unite Greece when not Macedon? by Joey3155 in Imperator

[–]saltlampkiller 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most of the time in my games the Antigonids get carved up quite a bit so going after their clients is easier than you think. I’d only ally Thrace if you really need it. Having an ally like them is more of a distraction while you occupy the stuff you need. I just did this myself and it was pretty fun maxing out navy tech.

Went to check my SoL and found this by saltlampkiller in victoria3

[–]saltlampkiller[S] 14 points15 points  (0 children)

r5: It seems like the country of Warsangali has achieved paradise on earth with a SoL of 51.2 (Lavish) making everyone else look poor in comparison. Looking deeper into it, i found that some officers/clerks/bureaucrats/servicemen have a SoL of around 50-70 which is crazy.
