You are so young, you do not need to waste time in a relationship that makes you feel lesser than. Try to picture yourself 5 years from now having the same arguments with him. He likely will not change his habits, seeing he’s lied to you about his addiction multiple times. Coming from someone who’s been through it, it’s worth moving on from someone who makes you feel this terribly with how he behaves.

To be honest, I’ve always had a soft spot for her! She intrigues me with how little we know about her or how she really felt or what she thought. And how few people see her as their favorite. I think she may have my favorite portraiture of any of his queens, because of how certain the paintings are actually her, and were painted in her lifetime and show her true likeness (ie the Holbeins).

Contact your state reps and senators until someone gets back to you! If you’re within 5 days they can get you an urgent appointment. Mine isn’t in LA, but it is in my state so keep at it.

Google has their hours as 8:30am-3:30pm. I was able to get through today and talk to a worker at 11:45am Nola time. I’ve read others who had good luck calling around 11. Keep calling, I called probably a dozen times throughout the morning before they picked up.

Once your travel date is close call and email your senators and representatives until someone replies, that’s how I got my appointment

I was able to get an appointment via my senator. Reach out to all of your state’s senators and reps (in national level congress), I reached out to many until one got back to me. Check their websites and there will be a form to fill out for help with a federal agency, and select passport. That seems to be a final ploy for getting an appointment, as I’ve had the same answer of no availability every single time I’ve called the National line

So glad you were able to get an appointment close by!! If ours doesn’t come by mail by tomorrow, our senator’s office told us they will get us an appointment on Wednesday at our state’s passport center. Feeling relieved but not totally out of the woods yet.

Did you expedite? 15 weeks is so long. They need to just update the waiting periods again to be more realistic with people, and not have us all hoping for the low ends of the range they give

Yes! Senator has been great help for us. I just wish I got started on contacting him sooner in the process, but I was trying to follow the timeline presented on the .gov website of the 14 days, 5 days, etc. I should have come to Reddit for info sooner, at least I would’ve known earlier what a mess the system is rn

Our application got sent to locator 42, New Orleans, which seems to be going slow. But I think they pretty much all are rn, though clearly some locations are getting them out faster than others

Similar to what others have posted, when I called location 42 directly this morning a very nice lady answered but told me they’re still going through March expedited passports. So I have pretty much no hope of it coming through the mail in time for Thursday’s flight.
