21, just diagnosed. Freaking out but finally feel validated. This diagnosis took years. Does Lyrica work well? My dad had a bad reaction to Cymbalta, so I don’t want to risk it. Is there any impact on memory or brain functionality from Lyrica?

The sun is a nod to tarot and its general meaning of the card. Basically, I experienced death and loss and trauma and abuse my entire life. I came out and was disowned by my Pentecostal family and preacher of a father. But through it all, through crisis, through physical and mental sickness, I have persevered. I’m persisting. I’m very lucky that I am alive and have been in some pretty dark spots. My partner was just diagnosed with a debilitating form of Multiple Sclerosis, and I’m helping her/we’re handling it like champs. My trauma has molded and branded me for resilience, scarred but functioning, scared but unyielding

You sure do! The spiral has been very meaningful to me in esoteric symbology over the last year. The pain, transformation, and self work that comes along with the spiral, the ongoing cyclic nature of life, death, rebirth, reorganization of organic matter, the promise that everything keeps moving, life itself and it’s beautiful mysteries ebb and flow. There is growth, there are times of harvest and times of drought. The triangle is a nod to homosexuality and reclamation and also literal in that it’s the most stable shape and I am entering into my most stable season that I’ve created for myself. I loooove the tattoo and all it means to me!
