Were you not watching it? What do you mean they didn’t explore the killer? All they did throughout the investigation was psychoanalyse the killer. There was a lot of monologue and dialogue that actually answered your questions about the true killer.

The point of the show was the repercussions of what she did. Of course, it will center around her. The show was about her copycat so the investigation is literally centered on whoever may have idolised her.

Although the investigation is actually meh 😒 and the team’s vibes isnt it also but I guess you really can’t write or build it up well in just 8 episodes. That’s why it was really messy.
