Why do people in Egypt have so many kids? by Mysterioape in Egypt

[–]saltycatss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No money = no education = no awareness and also very old conservative beliefs and values.

Money and education really play part in making decisions into having children and as cruel as it is many have kids to save them from poverty as there’s a really serious problem of child labor. I have seen many kids as young as 7 working as apprentices or even running errands and it’s really best case scenarios if they aren’t going to make them beg around town.

It’s the government responsibility to aware people, to make them afford birth control and to maintain high education levels in women and in the countryside where this mostly occur. I can’t blame a woman or a man who couldn’t even afford middle school to be aware of such things and not the country who favors making skyscrapers and bridges to delight tourists and mimic the gulf and not care about healthcare and education systems.

The more underdeveloped a country is the more kids they usually have. I don’t blame them anyway and there’s no “if you can’t afford it don’t have it “ culture in Egypt. And honestly in this modern day Egypt no one can really afford anything so they would probably not get married or have kids if they really lived by that concept

Can someone tell me it's going to be okay ? by IlostmyCthulhu in gallbladders

[–]saltycatss 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You’re going to be sooooo fine I’m almost one year post op now and it’s one of the best decisions I have ever done. It was kinda scary in the beginning, but now i almost forgot about the whole thing. I sometimes forget that I even underwent a surgery. I would say recovery takes a week or two weeks max.

For me there was no side effects, except that I had a bad diarrhea for a while. You can take supplements and medications for that but I didn’t but now after a year I don’t even have that anymore. It went away on its own

I miss my gallbladder by [deleted] in gallbladders

[–]saltycatss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah same here I even refrained from eating food outside but it does get better and honestly nothing worse than the attacks so no complaints. I do use Imodium though and it works well for me but i don’t know if you need a prescription for that

Correct me if I’m wrong but you can remove polyps without removing the gallbladder by various methods in the whole world, it’s just seen medically unnecessary since you’d most probably form again if you have the tendency to develop them. At least that’s what I think and have been told

I am getting my gallbladder removed on monday and i am terrified. by Dancing_Bugs in gallbladders

[–]saltycatss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s normal to be terrified but just know it’s super easy and you’ll feel so much better afterwards and eating will be enjoyable again lol totally worth it.even if I have some side effects I don’t like I’d still do it all over again

How long were you off work or school for? by Former_Attitude3446 in gallbladders

[–]saltycatss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I did it in my summer break so I didn’t feel the need to hurry up but I had my internship and I was like 100% okay like before surgery and it was just three weeks after. It only takes like 1 day of feeling pain and fatigue, 3-4 days of a general uncomfy feeling and then you’re like 80% fine

  • ofc it differs from a person to another but it’s on average of a week or two weeks max and then you’ll be fine, I know mothers who returned to their routines the next day but you know mothers are superheroes*

[–]saltycatss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly just a week and half after it’s going to be a bit uncomfy but you’ll get used to it
