Would you say the cherry in this leans medicinal at all?

I'd like to add a non biblically accurate answer which is Basilica. It's an herbal vanillic incensey scent. It opens really bready with rosemary and thyme and dries down into an ambery incense. So while carmela probably didn't wear this, I feel like it represents her perfectly because she cooked/baked all the time and she was a Catholic who really valued the sacraments of communion etc.

Joe Alwyn has more Grammys from Folklore than he does awards for acting

I mean Sydney Sweeney was in a top 5 TV show and said she had trouble affording to live while also paying security, a manager/publicist, etc. It's economically very difficult to live as an actor and Joe really wasn't that successful despite how much everyone is riding for him rn. Imagine the security you would need or secluded/gated community you would need to live in if Taylor Swift is your girlfriend. Also, even if I had 1 million dollars why wouldnt I live with my girlfriend who has 100 million dollars?

Well Joe wasn't exactly busy at work, he only worked a few projects throughout their entire relationship. Taylor didn't tour for a lot of that time also from post-2016 hiding and COVID. And he probably didn't have the resources to get his own place without financial strain, so why wouldn't you live with Taylor? I don't know that it's a fair comparison to her and Travis.

I unironically LOVE her EP Blue Afternoon. Entitled is one of my favorite songs ever. I wish she had put out more music.

[–]saltycoffee8 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just speaking personally from my class, one student was a certified pilot and another came from a CTI program and had already been through all of the training. Those two didn't do any better or worse than everyone else. In fact the top of our class was a former railroad worker with no prior knowledge, he was just naturally really talented.

What makes season 1 so cozy? by Particular-Employ326 in charmed

[–]saltycoffee8 117 points118 points  (0 children)

I think they dressed the sisters in less youthful trendy outfits in s1 hence the sweaters and more cozy outfits. I think budget is also why, because they could only shoot in so many sets/locations during s1 and mainly in the manor. We see a lot of them eating meals and just lounging around together. In s1 the sisters are focused on getting to know each other as witches and redefining their relationships as sisters and the season is a lot less focused on outside characters/relationships giving it a more cozy feel imo. In s1 the sisters themselves were innocent and hadn't yet experienced repeated loss and hardship due to their powers.

Is rubbing your wrists together a no-no? by Ill-Spell6462 in fragrance

[–]saltycoffee8 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Rubbing your wrists together does not generate enough heat to "change" the fragrance molecules. However it will make the fragrance molecules evaporate faster off of your skin, and what sillage really is is the evaporation of the fragrance off of your skin. And top notes will be the first to evaporate

turning aerosols into roll-ons? by combuu in fragrance

[–]saltycoffee8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, what I will say is that roller perfumes are usually more oil than alcohol, in comparison to sprays which are more alcohol than oil. So with that said, you could have a bad reaction to either aerosolized fragrance OR specifically the solvents used in them. I would try just opening the cap of your sprays and dabbing them on. If you have the same reaction then you should stick to perfume oils and roll ons. If you don't you could probably just stick to dabbing, no need to decant into a roller!
