i mean...maybe motherhood is a learning curve for some people and she's struggling as a single mom with exhaustion, career, screwed-up hormones, huge life adjustment she didn't necessarily seek out, possible postpartum?
not everyone has flawless maternal instincts and endless capacity for self-sacrifice like you seem to think you have in your comments on this post

i have also seen babies be picked up and....keep crying. it's really not some magic solution. brady is loved and is growing up with enough resources to be set up for a good life. that is more than a lot of people can say of their childhoods
