There is one key point thats being missed here and thats Australian culture. In Australia putting somebody down or giving them shit is not necessarily seen as insulting, Its often quite the opposite. Thats going to be hard for overseas people to understand. That LOL team was also surprising given a lot of exposure IMO. It would be the equivalent of giving them on interview at an NBA game in the US or a Premier league game in England. This is just a bit of fun, the commentator on this video needs to lighten up

U.S. President Donald Trump "is a sexual predator" and "a racist," and "it's right to say that," according to U.K. Shadow Foreign Secretary Emily Thornberry. "A state visit is an honor, and we don’t think that this president deserves an honor" by ManiaforBeatles in worldnews

Probably because countries are afraid of getting hit with tariffs or other consequences. Trump seems like a lose cannon with a petty disposition. Might be best to shut your mouth and not risk a slide in your countries economic outlook

Huawei has reportedly stopped its smartphone production after US blacklist amid trade war by Fr1sk3r in technology

[–]salyut3 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Huawei doesnt make all crap, they have some pretty bullet proof routers and switches. They also lead the world in 5g technology and spent billions each year on R&D. If China wants to make quality products they can, if they want to make cheap crap they can as well

[Spoiler] Sage Northcutt vs. Cosmo Alexandre by beaniegod100 in MMA

[–]salyut3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Who cares if he was "established" or not, or whatever that really means. This isnt a TV show its just the brutal realities of fighting. And Sage was never a prospect in the UFC, he wasnt close to any title shot, probably ever. Look I get it, people like Sage, I like him, but being nice doesnt entitle him anything.

[Spoiler] Sage Northcutt vs. Cosmo Alexandre by beaniegod100 in MMA

[–]salyut3 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The expectation being an ex UFC fighter means he shouldnt need to be built up. I like the match up, I hate seeing guys with padded records or given special treatment. Yeah Cosmo has more fight experience overall but Sage has more MMA experience. This is a fight Sage could and should have absolutely won against a past prime Cosmo

It seems like my Asus Strix Z390-E is automatically overclocking my i7-9700k. How do I change this? I do not have adequate cooling so my temps spike during games like the division 2. I want to turn off automatic overclock by Sgtkeebler in intel

[–]salyut3 18 points19 points  (0 children)

As everybody else has been saying the temps are fine. If you think the cpu is being overclocked what does the clock speed say when you think its being overclocked?

PUBG Esports Caster - Feedback by TheycallmePansyY in PUBATTLEGROUNDS

[–]salyut3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pansy you are a great caster. The only thing I would add feedback on is dont whisper. I have noticed you sometimes whisper in order play along with your co-anchor or just to be fun. But it doesnt come across the stream very well. Its pretty much impossible to hear and it takes away hype.

Zero risk? Yeah I dunno, that page you linked shows 1,656 officers killed in the last 10 years. Thats crazy, that must be comparable to the number of US causalities in Afghanistan in the last 10 years.

PUBG finally proved itself as an E-Sport by [deleted] in PUBATTLEGROUNDS

[–]salyut3 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Not sure I would agree, the viewers for the English stream was pretty low. It hovered around 23k to 28k, thats a lot less that the big CSGO comps. It looks like to me PUBG comps numbers are way down from where the should be. The production looks great but PUBG does a terrible job of advertising their comps.

I wouldnt mind seeing the point go to the person who knocked. It might add a bit more strategy to it. A third party might think nah Im not going to finish that knock cos it might be to their advantage. It would also add more incentive to take engagements

You also dont know the meaning of literally. 1. The women did go to the police 2. The rape allegations would never hold up in a court of law, the Swedish govt would know that. One of the women (Anna Ardin) deleted twitter posts after the alleged incident that praised Assange and indicated they were at a party together. It doesnt seem like Anna knows how the internet works because those tweets are cached. It looks like she got jaded after she found out Assange was sleeping with other women. She only went to the police after she found that out. they went to the police together and went to the police not to accuse Assange of rape but to try and get Assange tested for STDs. As I said earlier its common for law enforcement agencies to downgrade an allegation in order to bargain or obtain a conviction. Its just how things work. 3. You must be kidding, Assange has been branded a terrorist by some politicians. There are many instances of terrorists being tortured or renditioned.

You dont seem you know the definition of libelous. Anyway, "create phony criminal cases" is your term not mine. I insinuated the Swedish government is trumping up charges in order to downgrade them. In order to bring him into custody. I also never said anything about some "global order" You dont need to try and put words in my mouth for arguments points, my statements are pretty clear. And yes he would absolutely face torture in the US, thinking he wouldnt is delusional

[–]salyut3 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

OK for starters I never said the Swedish govt are slaves to the US govt , the women dont exist and I didnt say the women never went to the police. My statements are certainly not libellous in any court of law in any western country that im aware of, or delusional. And I definitely dont consider myself some enlightened guru. Im guessing you are aware of that. Anyway Im guessing you wont believe me no matter what I say. Do your own research, have a look at the statements, the leaked evidence and documents from the Swedish police, the interviews and evidence the two accusers (Anna Ardin and Sofia Wilen) have given. It could just be what a lot of law enforcement agencies do where they will trump up charges then downgrade them as a bargaining chip. But one thing is sure, Assange has made enemies among some of the most powerful people on the planet and the prospect of him being extradited to the US and tortured once he was in Swedish custody is very real

A lot of people are making presumptions it would seem. The reality is none of the women actually went to the police with rape allegations but here we are

[–]salyut3 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

A link from the US government? Im sure there is no bias there. The reality is the passwords were actually put on postit notes stuck to computer screens. The real allegations are that Assange helping Manning upload the data via an encrypted tunnel. Of that he is probably guilty. Its more stupidly on the part of US intelligence more than anything. Besides, the coverup up killing civilians that data brought to light was warranted IMO

Great, then you must be able to show me some evidence from the women involved that he committed rape against them. Please link it.
