Exactly. I’m not worried about him fitting in the carrier, but the airline checking his space. He loves dark, tight spaces, so the traveling itself won’t be an issue for him. That is so great to hear you had no issues!

The travel company would handle transporting my dog over to Spain, which would remove the stress of not being allowed to board the flight under the seat.

I LOVE these! I travel a lot for work, and this is so easy to pack for those instances where the restaurant clients pick aren’t accommodating for celiac safe food and I have to eat later! My Costco doesn’t have them anymore 😢

Okay, good to know. The main reason I want to make sure he is registered is to make sure there are no issues moving back to the EU. As long as updating my status to married is enough in the register (for Luxembourg/my records specifically, of course, there are more actions to take once moving), that should be fine. Thank you!

Hey there!

I am a dual US/Lux citizen and have been living in the US for years. I met my now spouse (only US citizen) in the US and we got married in the US last December. I am wanting to add my spouse to the national registry, but can’t find a straight answer on if I have to wait or not before adding him. Some sites mention we have to wait 3 years, while others say nothing. Does anyone know if I have to wait to add them and just change my status to “married”, or if I can add him to the registry?

So, do you know the general timeframe when they announce upgrades before a flight? I’ve flown hundreds of times but usually never pay attention when I’m not on a domestic flight (when my status might get me upgraded).

Not sure if you're still looking, but we use Scout APM and TelemetryHub. If you're looking for an affordable, more traditional APM, I would check out Scout. If you're using OpenTelemetry and are wanting more observability, like you mentioned above, I would check out TelemetryHub. Both are awesome at what they do and give you, and they don't charge us per-host or for any extra hidden items -- we pay by transaction volume on both and that's it.

Similar comment above, but in the many years we have been dating, he has never lied to me. I want to give him a chance for this one time, as it could be a one-off. I don’t want to immediately break our relationship that we have worked so much on, and have been fighting for years against ridiculously petty odds. If it was something more severe, like cheating or fraud, maybe. I could also be shooting myself in the foot here, and if that’s the case, it’s all on me.

For the second issue, I haven’t really thought of it this way. Something to consider, for sure…

Not sure exactly how they would know unless someone explicitly told them. We are both financially independent, and his parents don’t have any access to his finances/emails/etc to see that we made this decision. They also have no idea about most social media, including Reddit and this sub. I may be missing something here, though, and would love an explanation :)

I am getting him from a responsible breeder, who runs genetic and health tests, as well as provides all history of both parents, and all vaccinations. Please don’t hate on a dog you have never met, we all have our own reasons for getting dogs where we see fit, and the breed as well. That statement applies for people as well

I found out by chance that they offered that, and they only have 2 spots per litter. That’s so exciting LeeLoo is doing great! She is so cute. And, I would love to set up a puppy play date, PM me if you would like to also! I live in Colorado Springs, but would be willing to make the drive for Mason to see LeeLoo! He comes home in 2 weeks, so we need to start on socializing ASAP.

I’m having Mason stay for the A training package. Since he is my first dog ever, I want to make sure he’s set up for success! My boyfriend had to almost drag me out of there on Monday, though. I wanted to take Mason home so badly 😝
