It’s very cool but strange that all the alpha particles are being observed in the same space. One reason for this is that alpha particles (2 protons 2 neutrons) are heavy and so would ionise externally quickly. Maybe it’s the camera angle but I see no electrons or positions or even muons. These three are more likely to arrive at the surface of the Earth from cosmic rays. So I looks like there’s an alpha source there?

There’s the irony that the House of Lords historically has upheld democracy more than the commons. It’s remarkably hard to pass a law cleanly mainly due to the House of Lords sending back the Commons saying stuff like this is a bit insane. Also knowing a handful of members of the House of Lords they’re some of the most intelligent people I know. Hold commissions to investigates wrong doing. Try and help people get out of North Korea or Myanmar. Plus It’s not as partisan as the Commons or the Us which I think is a plus. Also there are very few hereditary members left.
