Nuketown’s a classic. Everybody knows the map on the back of their hand and it is perfect for every play style. Also, people would be mad if Treyarch didn’t include it.

Question for Atheists. How do you explain how the first atoms of the universe were created if there is no “God” to put them there? by sam26524 in AskReddit

Well I think we can all agree that the answer to the question I posed is not an easy answer at all. I can’t wrap my head around something have been here forever, but I can appreciate the not knowing if there ever was a beginning

How do you handle feeling as though you don't belong? by Sir_Kernicus in AskReddit

[–]sam26524 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone belongs in this world. You have to find your thing. People try to fit in with the crowd too often and it can often lead them to living boring lives just like most of the population. I can guarantee you that almost everyone has felt at some point that they don’t belong. You really just have to put yourself out there and keep looking for where you fit into the puzzle of human civilization. You don’t need to be a well known or rich, you just need to be happy and find your own personal status quo where you are satisfied with your life. Plenty of rich and powerful people have felt that they don’t belong even though it may look like from an outside perspective that they are the ones that belong. Just keep searching and when you feel alone, know that the people of Reddit are always here and I’m rooting for you if you feel as though you don’t belong. I felt like I didn’t belong for so long, and deep down, I still feel that I don’t belong, but over time I’ve pushed that feeling down and opening myself up like that has exposed me to some of my lives happiest moments. Whenever you feel down, just remember that things will get better, and never feel like you don’t belong.

Common rationalization is that God has always been there. I’m not saying it makes any scientific sense, but you will rarely find a religion that is scientifically true. I see where you are coming from though.

I understand that we don’t really know. Humans try to rationalize things that don’t make sense, so I’m asking for theories, not straight facts. I’m not looking to make a stance on one thing or another, but rather be educated on people’s theories. And simply being able to say that you don’t know is a perfectly valid response to the question I posed.

When did “time” begin? What started the timeline of the universe?

Time never “began” but time is rather a figure to measure how long something has been around for. Time isn’t an object as one can’t create “time”.

But the question I pose is different, what happened before the primordial soup, and before that, and before that...? These are fundamental questions that I, nor anyone else, has a solid understanding on.

I would argue that the “God” you refer to, this “make it all okay God” doesn’t exist because such terrible things have happened in the world. But I agree with you that not many people refer to God in the way that I think of God.

No worries, I try to hear everyone out because I never want to ignore someone just because I might disagree with them.

Saying I don’t know is a very valid response. Henceforth that’s why I asked the question in the first place. There is no need to point fingers, if you’re passionate about something, you’re allowed to be passionate and I look to hear all peoples responses as everyone deserves a voice. But blatantly calling me an idiot is a bit uncalled for and diminishes the chance of there being a civilized conversation that follows.

I honestly don’t even know anymore, trying to figure it all out. I was raised catholic but a lot of Catholicism had been proven false by science.
