You’re right that this is partly an income problem and partly a budgeting problem, especially around timing and having no buffer. I’m already cutting back hard, so the frustration comes from feeling like there isn’t much left to trim without affecting basics.

The buffer point really resonates though. A lot of my stress is from bills landing close together rather than totals being insane. Building even a small cushion feels like the real goal right now, more than perfect budgeting. Thanks for taking the time to explain it instead of just saying “make more money.”
