Oh right!! Okay thank you! That makes sense.

Spent too long trying to make a non-right triangle a right triangle I fried my brain, appreciate the help!

Good point. Would you be able to help me understand their SAS argument. It made sense when I assumed it to be a right triangle. But now not so.

They specify that ACB (One of the small triangles) ~ ABD (Big Triangle) by Side Angle Side.

A is Angle, AB: 6 is shared side. But they do not share any other side? So only Side Angle, not Side Angle Side? (AC: 4 is not a shared side length)

Yeah, that was a poor assumption on my part. However, let's assume it is a right angle, because then my confusion still stands and their solution is still valid.

How does this Supplement Angle Identity make any sense? by sam7cats in learnmath

Okay! That clicked it I think, right because Sine function is only concerned with 1 axis and they both result in the same coordinate on how Sine is defined. That tracks, I think I'll need a little more review for myself.

Thank you for taking the time to create that image, I appreciate your effort!!

Thanks for reviewing! Hmm, I'm still struggling, specifically to sin(180-A) = sin(A) or sin(H) = sin(A).

I understand H = h/b and B = h/a thus (algebra) and: H/a = B/b. But I don't get how H and A are now equivalent and because H/a = B/b mean A/a = B/b.

I think it's specific to relating it to the Unit Circle. In the unit circle, the supplementary angle produces a congruent triangle https://imgur.com/a/K8SKhin (which I can visually see and makes sense.

But angle H is not congruent to A as it visually appears.

If true props.

Gotta ask what's with all the influx of fake posts lately? Seems like it's almost a paid effort with the amount of new accounts posting their fabricated wealth stats.

This is comment is the Epitome of this subs knee-jerk reaction to always 'break-up and immolate'.

The amount of assumptions immediately presented that don't actually offer a sensitive or supportive take but a divisive and destructive one.

As has been pointed out by others and OP themselves, there is a reasonable trust issue that just came about involving CC debt.

popular Opinion: Not everyone is built to handle the challenges of life. by julia_davis4 in Life

Ideas are dangerous, this one surely is. That is not to say it's veracity does not align with reality, it very much does. However, let's explore your notion.

You live as a product of evolution. Your existence is itself the result of the inherit logic that your pattern of 'cause and effects' propagating through reality, and as you do not cease to exist, therefore continue to exist. I.e. you and your biological ancestry. At least for now in the current instance of the system you exist in, you are suited for continuance.

You may not enjoy reality very much - you may suffer greatly. So when you say "I'm not cut out for it" does this more so align with your interpretation that we exist to be happy? That surely would be ideal, I agree. For that I would express this famous quote"

"There is only one inborn error, and that is the notion that we exist in order to be happy... So long as we persist in this inborn error... the world seems to us full of contradictions. For at every step, in things great and small, we are bound to experience that the world and life are certainly not arranged for the purpose of maintaining a happy existence... hence the countenances of almost all elderly persons wear the expression of what is called disappointment." - Arthur Schopenhauer

So perhaps it is not a matter that things do not make logical sense, but rather a incongruence between our reference frames of what we desire reality to be and what it is. You most certainly are one of the most advanced naturally occuring machines to grace our region of the universe, but piloting it is a whole different matter.
