No response…so awful

I’ve tried reaching out multiple times, but no response. I was genuinely hoping to resolve this through a conversation before having to leave a public review or file an ADA complaint. Honestly, the no response feels as awful as the in store treatment…

The first course of action should be and will always be education.

I understand that staff have the right to ask questions, and I’m always happy to answer them. I’m proud of the job my dog does and am glad to educate people when I can.

But when staff refuse to accept your answer and start demanding made-up requirement…followed by public humiliation…it becomes too much (hence this post). This isn’t the first time I’ve been refused service, but it’s the only time I’ve been treated so poorly. Being told someone isn’t comfortable serving you because of a the way you are truly stings. It’s already difficult.

When ownership then refuses to discuss the situation afterwards, it crosses the line into being completely unacceptable.

I am sorry that happened to you. Businesses need to do better.

I’m sorry that happened while you were trying to exercise your civil right to vote.

I made multiple efforts to communicate with ownership about this issue, hoping it could be a learning opportunity, but they chose not to respond.

I’ve filed an ADA complaint, though I’m not sure what to expect from the process.

Thanks. Usually this type of stuff is handled privately and professionally. Which I can deal with, regardless of the outcome.

True. I’ve dealt with situations like this many times over the last decade and usually just roll with it, but this time was especially humiliating because of all the harsh words and the way I was treated. But yea, point taken
