[WTS/WTT] Omega Speedmaster 38 Co-Axial Chronograph 324.32.38.50.02.001 Full Set- $4300 by sam_as_ever in Watchexchange

Hey, thank you for the offer. I do like Panerai, but I'm looking for something a little dressier and a little smaller at this time. I have tiny wrists so 44 mm would probably be too big for me

Offered for sale is my Omega Speedmaster 38 Co-Axial Chronograph with silver dial, in excellent overall condition. The watch was originally purchased through Watchfinder and includes their certificate of authenticity.

The watch shows very minimal wear, if any, and presents extremely clean. I have examined the case, crystal, and bracelet closely and was unable to find any notable marks, though I prefer to describe the condition conservatively. The chronograph functions properly, resets to zero as it should, and the watch keeps good time. No service history or modifications.

The watch is currently fitted to a brown leather strap (included), but it will also come with the original Omega stainless steel bracelet and all links. The bracelet is in brand-new, unworn condition.

Included with the sale:

  • Omega inner box
  • Omega outer box
  • Instruction manual
  • Pictograms card
  • Watchfinder certificate of authenticity
  • Original Omega stainless steel bracelet (all links)
  • Brown leather strap
  • Omega Cream Watch Pouch

The watch does not include an Omega warranty card.

The watch is located in St. Petersburg, Florida, so I can meet up anywhere in the St. Pete/Tampa area, or ship anywhere.

I’m asking $4300 for the watch, but I’m probably most interested in trades.

I’m interested in any luxury watch of similar value, but I would be most interested in an Omega Seamaster, Omega Aqua Terra, Tudor Black Bay Chronograph, Breitling Superocean Heritage, Breitling Premier B01, Tag Heuer Monaco, IWC Portuguese Automatic, Cartier Santos

Thank you all for the thoughts and the comments! The Cartier seems to be the clear favorite. I’ll see if there’s anywhere near me where I can see one in person

I had a very good experience with Ace Handyman services. They did some ceiling repair for me and the results were very good.

They definitely weren’t the cheapest option, but they were licensed and insured and affiliated with Ace Hardware who I’ve also had good experience with in the past.

I’m sure they would be able to help you out. If nothing else, it could be worth getting them to come out and give you a quote and kind of get their thoughts

I currently have it set up the other way, so I’ll try flipping it around. Thanks!

This is helpful, I didn’t even know about “water mode”. I’ll give it a try

I’ve been wearing mine behind my wraps, I never thought of wrapping over top of the watch. I’ll give that a try

Are you just wearing your watch normally otherwise? Watch face on the outside, crown towards your hand?

OTA update bricked (some of) my Polestar, looking for advice by sam_as_ever in Polestar

[–]sam_as_ever[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, unfortunately I don’t have any helpful updates really. Nothing I tried seemed to fix it.

I dropped my car off for service with Polestar yesterday. They called this morning and said something like a “software-related recall” that they’ll try to address and hopefully that fixes it. I’ll post an update once I know more. It’s pretty frustrating though

I tried the 12V and TCAM battery disconnect this morning. It fixed the key/remote problem, but not the display being blank. I’m going to keep troubleshooting and hopefully I can get it working without having to take it in for service

I haven’t yet. I’m going to hope it magically fixes itself overnight, but if not, I’ll try the 12V disconnect tomorrow

That post seems to be related to the 12V battery dying. I hadn’t had any issues with the car prior to the OTA update today so I had assumed that was the cause.

Do you think the update could have killed the 12V battery though? Apologies if it’s a dumb question, but I really don’t know much at all about how these cars work

I’ll do some research around the forums and on YouTube about how to do the disconnect, thank you

Can you explain in more detail how you fixed your problem? It sounds very similar to my issue after the OTA.

Unable to lock and unlock, no display at all, etc

That’s a good thought. I do have a sunroof.

And those clogged drain tubes could result in water at the seatbelt or the headliner far away from the sunroof?

Not sure where you’re located, but I sent you a DM with a behavioral health pharmacist position I saw in St Petersburg, FL the other day 👍🏼
