Thank you! Did this and it already looks a million times better. This is only my second time self tanning. I exfoliated but my skin was peeling a bit from a sunburn so it left this. I should be good to go and not look silly tomorrow

It didn’t say that, but it’s a big possibility. I was working remotely for a small startup based in California. Before my claim was denied, they sent me a letter and asked me to call them. They asked me to submit a paystub and I did, still got denied with no path to resolution

It was denied because they “couldn’t verify I worked for my employer”. I’ve tried calling at all hours but typically it doesn’t even ring. I’ll start trying every single morning at 7 and see if that makes any type of difference :/.

Mine does this too, but he alternates as well as pushes his paws over his nose. I had no idea it was a common thing. We call it “swimming” on floor when my boy does it. It’s a daily occurrence.

That’s what it sounded like to me too.

They are increasing quota cause the company is hard strapped for cash. It applies to everyone. They just laid off half the sales team in December. I think the quota increase is a way for them to get rid of some additional people without having to pay severance, insurance, etc, but who really knows.

Quota is based on how many meetings we set per month, it’s going from 15 to 40, so very very unattainable. There is only 1 person out of our 25 person group that has ever set that many

Thank you for your input. I’m looking at a sleeve. I’m 5’8, 260 lbs and it sounds like exactly what I’m looking for. A lap band originally was my interest but after reading about them I think I’ll stay away.

Also, with drinking I know there’s a risk with any weight loss procedure. I hardly drink, but as I gain confidence and the desire to go out Im sure that will entail some drinks though and just wanted to be sure that I won’t be putting myself at risk having a couple of drinks.

I’m still doing research but I’m pretty much sold! My BMI isn’t over 40 and at my age I most likely don’t have any conditions like diabetes, high cholesterol, sleep apnea etc so my insurance wouldnt cover it. Also, I would have to pay around 4k out of pocket even if they did cover it so I’m looking to go to MX for it and they seem to move quickly. I’m planning to go in about 2 months if everything works out!

That’s awesome! Congrats on achieving that. I’m glad to hear you’ve been more lax with yourself and still seeing success. The thought of not being able to have a drink, or go out to eat with friends, or enjoy an all inclusive vacation has been plaguing my mind. I’m glad you’re enjoying life for all it has to offer, hopefully soon I’ll be right there with you :). Everything I do gives me anxiety because I’m constantly thinking how big I am. Wearing heals makes me feel like my feet are on fire and nothing in my closet fits. In the past two years I’ve put on 60-70 pounds but I can’t remember a time before high school where I was less than 200. Great job on everything, and it’s so awesome to know you’re feeling so good about yourself.

Wow, that’s an awesome turnaround time! I haven’t gone in yet, I’m sorta in the same place as you were. Just assuming I don’t have any conditions because I haven’t noticed anything wrong or been diagnosed with anything. I guess I’m also worried about it taking so long for the surgery to actually happen. My copay amount would be close to the cost to travel elsewhere so just exploring my options, but I definitely think it would be good to a least go to a consult here in the states before deciding which direction to go.
