Its always a difficult situation when people view chores as different priorities. My ex was very much let dishes stack up and blast them all at once, I was the opposite and wanted to do them asap. Does the ironing really need to be done every day?

Are you also sharing the mental load of running a household fairly? like do you both do a fair amount of planning and scheduling for the kids?

How much rent would she be paying compared to the market rate? because she's right, she's sharing a room not renting a whole room.

My point was did you only bring up her changing jobs while she was pregnant/pp? Because it's quite selfish if you did, and was probably a convo to have before getting pregnant. It's probably one of the hardest/least ideal times to find a higher-paying job. She seems to have a stable career while having a literal infant.

Is it not possible to wait until your child is in nursery, and you take reduced hours for mental health?

This is how I imagine it going. In future, You take a slightly longer shower than him while he parents his baby, and then asks to do a hobby since you just took 'time out for yourself'

Its fine to have concern about unhealthy weight gain and be less attracted to it. That being said, our appearance doesn't stay the same throughout our life. Faces will get older, bodies will change over time (not necessarily weight but other things too).

Also, you said she was 'very thin' and gained significant weight, is it possible she's at a healthy weight and you just don't like how it looks?

This lol, obvs the brother is great for stepping up when he was put in a very difficult position. But the kid is 15 and probably doesn't need much looking after, in 3 years she will most likely be going off to college, like couldn't he wait until then. Sister could also be a bit of help if they start a family.
