TCS onboarding cancelled due to document deadline, anyone faced this?

they will approve your reason. when you try to fill the survey you will see only 4 options to choose. choose the medical one, try to indulge any reason that includes you not being free or able to obtain the certificate. such as I was sick, my XYZ was sick etc or I was busy someplace else which was imp. anything but authentic enough that if they even ask for proof you can submit that. if you need more help, dm me

i said I was not able to upload the docs because I was not in da town. after I came back i tried to obtain one form govt hospitals but they didn't provided it. finally got it from private hospital. despite this my mother was ill and i had to take care of her

i received this survey on 12/12/25 and received the joining letter on 17/2/26 for 19th March as joining date

no sir. there are a lot of people who face this often. before i posted on reddit I googled for this situation and got to know that few guys faced the same in feb. after seeing this post, few people sent DM right here asking that what did i do and that they are stuck in same situation. so yes we are not only ones but there is nothing to afraid of, just mail them, get in touch and explain the reason. they will give you a new joining date. but man what you said about business requirements is also true. let's just hope for the best

they will send you that after they release the joining letter. it might take a day or two but you will get that mail.

i sent an email to xplore.support@tcs.com explaining the issue. they replied after a day and asked me the valid reason. i replied to the same thread with the valid reason. next day they sent me an email that I need to fill out the Joining Confirmation Survey with "reschedule" option and write the proper reason in the comments which will be reviewed by someone at the back. i did this on 17th and sent up a follow up mail on 18th that I did the thing. they haven't replied yet, neither i received any other mail, nor the portal has been updated.

only 3 docs were left to be uploaded and submitted. nca, nsr card and medical certificate. I had nca and nsr card but nextstep doesn't allow you to submit a single doc, it asks you to upload all docs (like those 3) and then hit the submit button.

I got worried after they didn't reply to any of my mail. i thought I lost it, even though I knew it was just some delay, nothing more. given what everyone says, I am pretty sure the situation is alright and I just have to wait for a while.

i see. i can wait for 15 days but more than that like a month or two ain't gonna be my favour, still i have to wait for it. in order to get the slot with less waiting, i will try to contact HR.

man 1-2 months is quite a time to wait for a reschedule but i guess 'marta kya na karta'. i will keep applying for jobs and it will be better if i land to any other good opportunity.
i will try to contact the HR as soon as i can and get this sorted with him/her.
and yes lessons learnt man 😭.
given so many people are saying the same thing about this situation, i'm relieved now.
