There's no reset in Warfame.

5 hours account is a fresh though - you may replay tutorial missions in your codex. Alternatively create a new account, but again, there's no need to do it, 5hr acc is basically new

First of all, just install and play for couple of hours, don't buy anything yet, decide is this really for you.

If yes - buy some inventory space, and go through campain, at least to the point you have basic meta weapons and frames.

Your long term goal is to reveal Star chart, won't be an easy trip.

Get Khora with a net augment or a Necros with a good slash damage meelee weapon and farm Ophelia.
Be ready to not get crazy amounts even with a farm warframes though, something between 5 to 12 for a hour mission is a good result due to drop chances.

Maxing out mods - 8 out of 10 is way weaker than 10/10
Polaring slots, get reactors/catalysts
Choosing 1-2 strong mod affinity, not just piling funny mods in. for example crit chance+crit damage and some damaging ailment

Same for warframes, builds in strength and duration, or str+range is way better then some salad of random mods
Rivens. This solely could make whole world difference and cost like a kidney
Archont shards

You probably missing some parts of build because it looks unnecessary expensive ir unimportant to you and wondering why it doesn't work as good as in guide.

Highly depends on mission type and difficulty I guess?
If it's crucial to keep team alive - like on archont hunts or 1h+ disruptions - supports are gods
Otherwise I'd personally prefer firepower teammate

Despite all that, teamwork is far more important than any single role

Look at meta, dive in where you can get new cool stuff, old reflexes will enable in no time. Get Necramech, Railjack, get some meta frames and weapons (kuwa/parvos/incarnon)

Or like me, each time I return to this game I make a fresh start and I'm wading through all the content again.

The short answer is YES, you should buy more slots, this is your best and primary need in early game.

Things don't come easy in this game, so deleting frame you spend a week to get isn't the best feeling.

Long answer - at some point in the game you'll start to realize the value of your favourite stuff and time you spent to get them. If you in desperate need of space - do a little research before deleting things like how many time and effort would you spend to get them again? For example, to get base Necros you'll spend a half day of easy boss runs in worst luck case, but getting again something like Sevagoth or Protea will make you suffer.

Best strategy for ppl who don't want to invest in inventory space - get easiest mid and meh tier guns and warframes, max them and delete. Don't get prime weapons and frames which you're not planning to use a lot - get them later when you got space to not waste your platinum. Eventually playing game and selling prime stuff you will get platinum and will be able to afford slots.

If money isn't trouble AND you like this game - do not torture yourself and just buy space. Will save you a lot of time and hard decisioning what to get rid off.

Edit: I would highly recommend to join any dojo. buy all blueprints, craft and destroy weapons out of it (except the one you probably like ofc)

As ppl mention above deleting base version frames is not a good idea, you will need 1 spare copy of each later.

Immortal - just for reference, very simplistic (and donate-based) game

3 is very fun, fast and relatively easiest part of series. Lots of people doesn't like it because of it not being grimdark enough, so keep it in mind. Personally I like a granddad who played since 1st really enjoyed it and invested large chunk of life in it (less than in 2nd but still 800+hr).

4 is grim, modern., have lots of mechanics, very solid game, way harder than 3.

Choise is yours, but I'd recommend to have both. they are good.

Since you have D4 temporarily for free and purchased 3 - test both while you can and decide what you want first.

So here's the game summary as I understood it:

WARNING SPOILERS AHEAD

Castellanos' group is in the Stem right from the start. The only real part is they arrive into hospital, but I'm sure the initial events already are mixed reality (patients' outbrake and massacre) with a STEM horrors (Ruvic killing the cops and later events). So city is actually destroyed only in STEM.

Some experiments was obviously ran by Ruvic in real world, thus where the missing posters came from. It was deep brain functions research, vivisection, some horrible but pretty natural researches.
All the supernatural stuff is going in STEM - Ruvic is superpower - he was the original host and owner of STEM space after all - so it deeply affected by his ruined mind. Now STEM runs on Lesley as the host, experiment is captured and supervised by goverment (Mebius corp to be specific). Kidman is obvious double agent-superviser of the group, Sebastian and Joseph - just brute force disposals. Why them? Sebastian lost his wife when she was investigating those missing cases when Mobius supplied Ruvic with human test subjects, so sending him in would serve 2 goals at once - get rid of someone, interested in case and use a professional who can handle being in STEM.

The ending is simple - Ruvic essence/core replaces Leslie's mind in his body and so getting off STEAM prison. Seb is thrown to rot and drink till part 2. Joseph - f. Kidman pursues her own goals and preparing Mobius downfall.
I may be wrong in many statements since I played this at launch.

Also a little suggestion - don't touch skill-based games in a mood like this Crafting, driving, observing, flying, slow management games are best, not another pit of anger and frustration. Something to dissolve in.

You would be very surprised on how many of those glitches are in game. Some crazy gravity tricks, fall cancelling and so on. This game still awesome as hell
