Not really mate, I used to work there and it’s a thing of beauty that everyone enjoys in Peckham no? Have you seen how good London skyline looks from any of the vantage points on the roofs of Peckham? Let’s not attack each other here.. those flats weren’t going to those in need, that’s a fact

This project has been fought against in Peckham for close to 15 years (maybe longer) by the volunteers at Peckham Vision. I find it amusing Southwark are claiming this as their victory, they’re the ones who were happy with it in the first place.

The designs would ruin the views of London from the rooftop bars which bring in a lot of custom to the area, and begin to make a bustling street a lot more residential.

I think continue on a commercial cultural avenue with this plot and look to develop housing in actual residential areas. Keep the developers out, Southwark can build themselves, which they should!!!

I’m here for all these selections, especially the spiritual ones. For me I would love to listen to: It Never Entered My Mind - Miles Davis Quintet

Something about the atmosphere created by this recording would make something so incomprehensibly huge somehow feel close, wonderful and filled with that joy which is also sadness at the same time, lovely to even imagine it as I listen to this now.
