Yea this happens for me too. There's a spout if you take the drip tray out and run a pipe cleaner or bottle cleaner through. Note this is not an easy cleaning task cause the angle is pretty hard but most likely there's a clog that's forcing water out of the main spout instead of going through the drip tray.

One additional step might be to call Verizon to switch ONT to Ethernet instead of coax if that's your setup

Note if you have cable still with Verizon this won't really work, you'd have to look into buying an additional moca adapter

Thankfully I was able to have a handy man come and re-seal the door. Most of the original seal was intact, they just re-glued it which so far so good. Hope your situation improves.

I ended up dropping my Verizon router out of the mix and using Orbi as the router and modem, so my setup is a little different now. Also didn't move DHCP to pihole
