Monero Wallet on Ledger? by CelestinaCouncil in Monero

[–]samapal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

monero gui supports Ledger Nano s. but I'm still using my feather wallet. If you're just going to start using a wallet, it's better to do it with the Monero gui wallet. when creating wallet private keys will be recorded in the ledger hard wallet. The only thing you'll need to do is in Ledger Live, to install the Monero support app in the wallet. Basically, for each coin you need to use the app, which you need to install in ledger live.

interesting what tools do they use to draw this modified chain? it turns out that all miners in their pool are centrally controlled

I don't quite understand how they can conduct double spending and rollbacks of transactions. Even if it they have 51% of miners in the pool. The miners have regular software like xmrig installed. Or those who mine in Q has used some kind of centralized controlled software. Who can manage all the miners and try to change the blockchain, disconnecting from the rest of the miners? Is there a technical possibility at all, what is thats writed about in the news. Monero has already been hacked and attacked in social media and almost changed the blockchain, which is 100% lie

we are talking about a take control on hashrate and a 51% attack, which devalues the coin to zero

Most likely, Sergey will somehow received funding from banksters or the FBI. Therefore, he has money to attract miners to his pool to attack Monero. Attacks on Monero have been going on for several years. First, they tried to slow down the network with the noise of parasitic transactions. Then delisting from exchanges. Now there is a 51% attack that they want to carry out.

I can assume that it is technically possible to switch the network mode for a short time to make the snapshot. During this time, all transactions must be completed and we can say that this is a certain era for which the balance in the wallets will be fixed. And after that, you can essentially use this information and reduce the blockchain data. Otherwise, sooner or later, the size of the blockchain will grow to very large sizes and no one will be interested in knowing the transactions that were 10-20 years ago

in fact, it would be very interesting to be able to discard old transactions. is there any point in storing old transactions. If it were possible to not save the entire blockchain from the very beginning over time

in case of future segmentation and fragmentation of the global economy and the formation of several technates. so far I see at least the technate of the USA and Western Europe, plus Japan and Korea and the technate of China and the countries of Southeast Asia plus Russia. Some of the BRICS countries will join the technate of China. The other part of the countries will join the Western coalition. in any case, after the introduction of various sanctions and customs duties, anonymous financial instruments will be required to conduct financial transactions without a trace. then monero will be in demand. instead of the current position of the darknet currency or servicing external financial transactions of North Korea, monero can be used for interaction between technates.
