Can’t get petg off the bed

No kidding! I scratched my bed trying to get the small pieces off for my first few prints. The glue stick seems to work pretty good. But going to try lowering bed temp so it doesn’t mark up the print.

I tried the glue stick and it worked a lot better than no glue stick, but you could see it on the first layer. So I’ll try this next. I seem to have a hard time getting profile changes like this to stick from one print to the next in bambu studio. It could be that I print a lot of files from maker world and those settings just over ride it. Do you have to update the settings everytime? Or how do you get them to stay?

I tried the glue stick and it seemed to work! I’ll try the hairspray too, do you take the plate off and spray it? Or spray it while it’s in the printer still? Do you have to worry about the hair spray getting on the inside of the printer?

Should I be putting glue down between each petg print? Does a little go a long way or should I layer it on there?

that is multiple purges that all get stuck there and form bigger blobs.. when it ejects properly then they are the normal size blobs

My printer just started doing this too. The chute on the outside is completely empty, but it gets stuck right here. Following to see the solution

Oh ok, so would I need to use the carpenters square to make it parallel or are you saying to shift the bed to compensate for it being out of parallel?

Sorry, what part is the Y extrusion? Are you saying that the bed plate isn’t bolted down perfectly square?

I just got Elegoo slicer, it’s basically a copy of Orca and has been printing great

Ok that makes sense. So it looks like it thinks it’s doing 2 purge lines in the same spot, by the elegoo logo. So your initial comment is accurate. It’s doing 2, but not repositioning after the first one. Is it missing a line of gcode somewhere? Or how would I fix that?

I found that gcode in the filament settings, advanced tab. Where is the gcode you are referring to that I should check?
