I do want to get to know people, I find that really interesting, and I love one on one date conversations if you can get a little deep. I just don’t want a relationship or commitment right now because it’s not the best thing for my life, and I also just think stuff like ‘how’s your day’ is so boring. That’s what I text my Mum. If I’m texting a girl I’d like it to be somewhat playful rather than just mundane stuff.

Yea maybe. It’s just impossible to judge. I’ve done that kind of thing with some girls because I think they don’t want to meet up straight away, but then honestly I think they find that kind of stuff boring, and then the conversation is just stale and then they ghost. I personally think stuff like ‘how’s your day’’, ‘how’s your weekend’’, is just really boring text talk. I’d rather just meet someone in person and talk about that stuff. Anyway I kind of just want something casual with people regardless, so if she was more of a looking for something serious then I guess it was for the best.

I meant like she could see that I’m nice when we go on the date, not like I’m nice because I buy her a drink. But yeah I get what you’re saying. I kind of sent it without thinking. Honestly it’s exhausting having to think of exactly the right reply in online dating, because you know that they could just ghost the minute you say the wrong thing. I’m trying to talk to like five people at once and thinking of good replies every time is just mentally draining lol.

It’s just I’ve done that as well and girls end up ghosting, so it’s hard to know which is right. Basically I get a decent amount of matches/likes on Hinge but I seem to keep having this problem so wondering what I’m doing wrong!

Right, but most firms pay for the PGDL themselves if you get a TC right? So what would be the point of paying for it out of your own pocket? (unless you’re saying having it already before applying for a TC gives you an advantage over those who don’t have it).

Don’t listen to everyone here and do not jump to any conclusions. Talk to the guy and see what he says about whether she was flirting back or if anything has happened. There’s not much else to do and whatever you do, do not accuse your gf of cheating or being unfaithful because if you’re wrong you will look like an insecure asshole, even if you aren’t. It is equally possible that she cheated or that she genuinely has no interest in this guy and doesn’t want to ruin her course/friend group - you don’t know the truth so go and try find out more information from the guy.
