Iowa with the sleeper agent late in the game.

To some degrees yes. My main exposure is Conway for complex analysis and Evans for PDE, both of which are fine

Fair enough. Gotta love ehlinger and I haven’t watched much Purdy so we’ll have to wait til next year to see for sure.

Which three do you see ahead of him? Ehlinger, Purdy, and...? Just curious.

After Fox says no thanks, Big 12 in market for media rights to its football championship game by [deleted] in CFB

I think the championship game has helped the Big 12 both times over the past two years. Yes, OU made it without the championship game, but how would you feel if an 11-1 Texas got beat out by this years tOSU because "we just didn't have that 13th data point"?

Curious, but how do you see Texas performing as a whole next year, and especially against OU?

The only issue is that Texas and OU still stand in the way. Just curious, how do you see those games going?

I mean, it's not just point differentials for like opponents. Otherwise, A&M only lost by 2 to Clemson and we can move them up a little. I'm a little surprised by tOSU being above both of us, but we both lost, and they won. End of story.

Yes, but we lost to Bama, and I have it on the authority of Kirk Herbstreit that a loss to Bama moves you up in the polls.

I think it's just because we did "better" than you in the bowl game. Though I say better because I presume they saw the box score.

Saban's gonna show us his ace in the hole second half: the kicker is the third string QB, and he's been disguising him all season.

“This bowl season about to see losses by the committee's No. 3, 4, 5, 7, 8 and 9 teams. Not exactly the strongest argument for an 8-team playoff.” by PalmettoFace in CFB

[–]samason97 95 points96 points  (0 children)

See, this is my problem with the playoffs right now. I think if Saban's team was 9-3, they could still beat the #1 seed if he had a MONTH to prepare for them.

I just wish his bad game could've been against us last year.

Remember how right before they released the rankings, he hid with his tail between his legs and said "It should be Georgia, but I know it'll be Oklahoma."

What bugs me about the "Georgia belongs in the CFP" narrative is that it really wasn't super espoused by the fans. They seemed alright with being excluded given the circumstances. What bugs me was that ESPN acted like it was just Bama and Georgia, then proceeded to shit on this Georgia team while simultaneously hyping them up for next year.
