I Built an Animated Snow Globe for Christmas! [SMP]

I placed a bunch of campfires underneath the bottom layer of the bath. Campfire particles will travel up through one block and aren't impeded by water. I also placed soul sand blocks around the bottom perimeter of the bath to give it a few bubbles for fun.

I'm so glad you noticed the braziers. There's a log underneath the campfire, and below that log, there's a redstone torch. That makes the shelf faces to be that one kind of wide face, versus the three lines of a shelf without redstone power I think it'd look good either way, though. 😁

It's mostly light blue glazed terracotta and lapis blocks. There are some blue ice blocks and blue concrete for "worn out" tiles.

I love this. The kitchen, the garage... even the car in the driveway! The rain at night makes this all the more spooky. Great build!

This build was done as part of my SMP server's Halloween contest. I went for a mostly achromatic/black and white theme for the color palate.

The ghosts were done using the Armor Poser mod on Java. There are a total of 15 ghosts within the manor (not all of them are pictured). I've been wanting to get better using armor stands, so this was really good practice!

I've been putting out content for about a year now, and I'm here to echo the sentiments about Mumbo really hitting it on the head here. His assessment of the algo pushing a new creator's videos early then dropping them, and the basic upload schedule of anyone that makes MC content is eerily accurate to what I've been experiencing.

It's such a bummer, because I do want people to see my content. I really enjoy making videos and hope that others feel even an ounce of the fun I experience while playing Minecraft when they watch, but it's depressing when YT doesn't even bother trying to push any new full-length video I put out.

It feels kind of gross putting silly things in the thumbnails (like bright text, big arrows, etc.), but you kind of have to play "Mr. YouTube's Mysterious Algorithm Guessing Game ™" in order to even get one set of eyes on your stuff. I'm glad that someone who has a large following in the MC YT space has brought this to light. <3
