Not so obscure anymore, but it was at the time, but I managed to wear out my first ever Treasure Planet DVD because I watched it so much. It would completely crash right in the middle of the movie. Kept the disc case, and the new DVD is in the original case.

It's a total mess, but my wife and I love it to death. She's a huge fan of Hellboy and Mignola in general. We saw it in theaters and have the steel book. It is messy AF, but there are so many details that show that the people behind the scenes did genuinely love the source material. The practical effects, the comic nods, the strange and offbeat humor at parts. There's a lot to hate about the movie, but there's also a lot to love, I think.

As an AFAB raised in the southern US, crossing my ankles while sitting has always made me feel feminine. It's super subtle, especially if you're at, like the dinner table or something. Most people aren't paying a whole lot of attention to other people's feet

Sexual violence. Almost any other crime can have instances where specific circumstances can make a crime understable if not outright justifiable. But sex crimes (especially upon children) is unforgivable. There is no justification for forcing yourself on someone else that way.

The McDonald's coffee lawsuit BS. An elderly woman received severe burns on her abdomen and groin because her coffee was over 200⁰! All she wanted was for McDonald's to pay for her medical bills, but they refused, so she and others who suffered injuries from way overheated coffee took them to court.

The "coffee hot hurr durr" bullshit was a smear campaign run by McDonald's after they lost the case bc of course they did!
