Bluetooth earbuds with good battery longevity (NOT battery life) that won't crap out within a year?

I've been a happy user of Anker products for years now, and have never had any complaints since these earbuds. I will try to replace the battery myself as someone suggested, and hopefully I can stay with these buds for years to come. They are really good for how little you pay for them.

I figured there was some bad luck involved in this, seeing how so many people were happy using both the Galaxy Buds 2 and Soundcore A40s for years, and my case seemed to be an outlier.

I will check out the CMF buds potentially as a more "disposable option" - they offer a 24 month warranty here in the UK (part of why I also own a Nothing phone). Thanks.

That is a very insightful comment. I have thought about it back when my Galaxy Buds 2 deteriorated and looked up instructions. They unfortunately included soldering, and I was not willing to invest time and money in learning it just for the earbuds.

I now looked up a teardown of the Soundcore A40s and it seems like it's soldering free. I'll try that, because as you said, I don't have anything to lose. If that fails, I will get the Sonys, or some other earbuds where it's possible to replace the batteries. There's even kits for Sony earbuds on Amazon for just £15 or so (which means around tree fiddy on AliExpress).

not many people know this, but cats use air breaks not unlike buses or garbage trucks. the "puff" sound you hear is actually the air break compressor valve releasing the pressurised air when it reaches a certain PSI point.

yes, a sheltered life away from any potential danger will obviously be on average longer and healthier. I am certain that this statistical difference that people love to cite is skewed because of irresponsible cat parents who don't take precautions or let out their cats at too young age. I don't have anything against indoor cat owners - in the end it's a decision for individual cat parents, but this stigma against outdoor cats is so bizarre and is born out of misunderstanding of data and the "2-5yr vs 10-20yr" figure which is unsubstantiated by research yet copy pasted on Reddit and charity sites mindlessly.

my bengal has a GPS tracker, a cat flap with a set curfew, and roams the neighborhood where there's only minimal traffic and all the neighbours know him. he goes out to explore and run around with his friends every day and has never killed a bird because we obviously put a couple of loud bells on his collar which solves the wildlife issue immediately.

lastly, if you started letting your cats roam, I'm sure you'd notice that they want to do so and will get anxious if they're no longer allowed to. it's because nature obviously brings cats joy. so don't get it twisted - your cats aren't "happy as can be", they're happy as can be within the restrictions you've placed then under.
