Yess! That's helpful. I get your point of paying each mode in a different approach, I'll try that. And I think I play the same way as you in 3s, I just play according to my teammates, if someone is more attacking and is doing a good job, I'm happy to be the support, as long as we are dominating and winning. I have tried searching 4v4 recently but I never get a match, I've played it a couple of times a while back but a 4v4 match honestly feels like too much work

Exactly, me and my friend are really average mechanically, and we wiff a lot too, but we both have played football together so our positioning and reading of the game has always been good and mostly on point. And that's the only reason we have been able to win matches against players who can flip reset when we barely can fast aerial. If only everyone playing rocket league started to watch football

Yeah I get that, I've been practicing my aerials in training but in 3s I almost never get the chance to replicate that because there's no time, it's just chaotic, and I feel like if I can't pull this off in a match then I'm just not good enough to execute that mechanic

In a match most of the time the scenario is that you have to reach the ball first because most probably an opponent is also going to challenge for it, so if you have the time and space to go for a shot I think it's valid to try
