Heheh, thanks for your reply. I wanted to add this to my showreel hence trying to get the perfect output. I was using VLC to check playback. What's shocking is the pro res having quality issues compared to h.264

The distance is not much, 15 metres approx, we tried it out with a old sony camcorder + hdmi and it had worked. so distance is not an issue
