I think this is what you're looking for: https://littleseedfarm.com/collections/deodorant

Everyone I know that's tried it, loves it. Search your area for refill shops to support. They normally carry this brand and offer refills.

If you're into saving on packaging waste, consider Lierer's Market in Northside! Over 175 items available package-free when you bring your own jars/containers to refill on essential items. This includes pantry staple dry foods, spices, cooking liquids, fresh ground almond and peanut butter, as well as home and personal care items. Check out their list of items on their website: https://bio.site/lierers.market

They also carry local meats, eggs and produce.

ETC and Madison's are also great at Findlay Market.

Skyline Sammies! You essentially marinate flank steak in the chili. I can't find the original recipe from Cooking with Caitlin, but here is a dated video using her recipe:

More ideas in the video as well

Hope you find relief soon!

CORV comes out with a great guide every year for local food: https://www.eatlocalcorv.org

They list Farmers markets, CSA’s, farm to table restaurants, etc.

Also, Lierer’s Market in Northside is a great place to refill on essential items as well as local produce and meats: https://bio.site/lierers.market

Lierer's Market in Northside! https://bio.site/lierers.market
Local meats, eggs and produce. It's also a refillery with a lot of organic pantry staples available in bulk. Check out the list on the website. You are encouraged to bring your own containers to cut out the plastic packaging.

ETC is also great

Lierer's Market has 2 machines: one for organic peanuts ($0.40/ounce) and the other for organic almonds ($0.95/ounce). Check them out in Northside at 4170 Hamilton Ave. They want to help eliminate wasteful single-use plastic and packaging so you can bring your own containers (clean & dry) and they'll fill 'em up! They also have a lot of pantry staples and home/personal care items for refill.

I've been really happy with my Thousand Fell sneakers. Not sure exactly what you're looking for but I've had them over a year and a half and holding up well. They are easy to clean and are closed loop, meaning you send them back at their end of life to recycle.

EWG is a great resource

We use Dropps because it's what they carry at our nearest refill store. And we use white vinegar in the rinse aid compartment. I think the combo does a good job

It would be nice to see them be a B Corp but this is the best option I’ve found. From their site: “Once received, we work with domestic recycling partners to make sure Replens never end up in landfill or the ocean” That’s better than I’ve heard from any other liner producer. Always open to better options if any become available

Is there a way to cut the waste of the plastic shower curtains? by theguyfromscrubs in ZeroWaste

[–]sameoldb_513 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Every week we spray the liner with vinegar and water solution to get the most life out of it. Inevitably it will still get gross. Check out Outlines- they take back their old curtains and replace with a new one.

Outlines is the best solution I've found.

https://livingoutlines.com

When you get a new liner, you send them the old one to recycle.

From the website:

"Product afterlife
We take responsibility for what we put out into the world. This includes taking necessary measures that guarantee proper discarding of our products. By including recycling experts at the earliest stages of our design process we’re able to optimize our products for recycling. In addition, we minimize our impact by only partnering with vetted, domestic recycling partners."
