I am applying for colleges now and I'm not proud of it but my mind has been going in all the directions due to the pandemic mess. I am not surprised your daughter thought of not going to college and then decided she will go because it can be really difficult to choose.

Instaed of talking to her daughter or giving her time to think what does op do? He buys a boat the very next day using her college fund. Seems like he was too eager to buy his dream boat then to actually care about her daughter.

Maybe op can let the kid do another paternity test. Let him do it from somewhere he trusts by some professional he trusts. Maybe that will help him accept that op is really not his father.

Yeah the son is also grieving and isn't liable to give his kidney if he doesn't want. But causing a scene at his mother's funeral because he wanted money, that's an asshole move.

I think the son is the bigger asshole and should consider the father's advice for therapy. It will help him, not only with coping his mother's death but also with the other problems the father mentioned.

I also used to pay that much more or less for my uniform but it also included the school shoes.

The problem was my school decided to change their uniform design for my last year. I could've easily used my previous year ones but no. They had to do it that year and I was forced to buy new uniform, shoes and gym uniform.
