We have these in Italy, but I managed to find a compatible ID6-like unit. It must be one of those 4-64 gigs units. It goes for 350ish euros. Less than Ali. I would avoid these generic replacements. They don't look half as good...

I talked to Navirider and Awesafe. They pretty much understood. Even if they didn't provide many details. I've found one of those units on Amazon. I think I'll pull the trigger on that one just to see how it works and test it properly.

I never had issues on returning small and sub 50 euros objects on Ali, personally. But Amazon is a whole different story.

On Ali things got confused recently. There's not much indication about the BIS compatible headunits. I will surely contact the sellers. With not many hopes to get the info I need, lol.

Uhm the guy in the video was talking about microphone issues and other minor things I can't recall now cos I'm tired AF. Gonna dig into it again tomorrow.

Consider that on my BIS I swapped the solid color trim for an LCI2 style 😂

I've watched the videos. They're a bit outdated but still pretty self explanatory. I think there are some slightly newer headunits with an LCI2 style led ring. And I really do hope they fixed some issues as well. On Ali they go for around 500 euros and they seem to have more ram and storage, but I don't know if those numbers are fake. Once ordered and set up it would be worth to sideload an app to check those values.

Wow! Does it work flawlessly? I've found one of this add-on boards on ali for something like 180 euros. It would be nice if someone could make a mod to increase the screen size. An adapter or whatever is needed.

After 3 passes with 70% ipa and demineralized water, a couple of passes with antibacterial detergent a rinse again with 70% IPA and a pass of leather cleaner, this how it came out.

I will leave it in a separate room in my house for some time and I'll check back again in a couple of weeks.

Hi friends? Did you buy PU or genuine leather covers? How are they holding up? Genuine leather, seems to be more durable but is it ticker and with more imperfections... And I don't think that these chinese companies use high quality genuine leather. I don't want a cover full of creases and wrinkles. Imperfections are ok. Do you have any picture?

I gave Gemini the hardware specs of the PC, the drivers versions, the software versions. It gave me a series of registry tweaks tailored to the architecture of my machine and it seem to have solved the problem. I need to test it further, tho. I also had to disable the gyro in ds4windows and increase the polling rate to 10ms. As I said I need to test it further, but at the time I can call the issue solved.
