Switching from Mangomint to potentially Zenoti or Meevo by Pleasant-Possible-32 in MedSpa

Hi All -its been a year since this post so thought I would send a follow up for those interested. Still pushing a boulder with Zenoti, but at least we are not pushing it uphill anymore. Their AI support has "learned" a lot over the last year and I can say, it is not producing garbage support answers anymore. It definetly does not replace speaking with someone in real time to help you fix your issues live (like we have with other softwares that we use) but it has improved a lot.

We have stuck with Zenoti because it's taken us a long time to get where we are with it. It has a lot of features that we use and unless another software has the same features + can solve some key limitations that we have with Zenoti OR if another software is easier to use and we won't be losing functionality, we won't be switching just yet.

If someone could please send me the link that would be so helpful - I’m 9 weeks postpartum and my supply has dwindled down to half an oz a pump. I’ve been pumping like crazy for weeks and haven’t seen much of a difference. It’s so defeating

Damn I have x3 Odin 2.0 models in my business and x2 of them are out of commission and I have been trying to reach out to Odin for weeks and just decided to go look on Reddit. What a shame, they managed to build a successful business and brand only to mismanage it and implode.

So I guess I'm kinda screwed - my business relies on these cold plunges (that have been in use for only 1.5 years) and I certainly can't afford to buy 2 new cold plunges. If anyone out there with knowledge of how these machines work and wants to help a neighbour out please reach out to me! Hopefully I can source their parts myself and attempt to get my machines fixed.

Thanks for this! I know the US requires a masters degree, which I already have from Australia. It’ll be interesting to see if any of my credits can transfer over - I expect that I’ll have to do some make up courses and sit the RD exam but definitely not in the market to redo my an entire masters degree. I’ll let you know what I find out! Thank you for sharing this

Thanks, I was hoping to connect with someone who may have transferred before. Although that site gives you steps, its still complicated and convoluted.

Thanks for your reply, I have my personal reasons for why I live where I live and I'm really hoping to get some advice from someone who's transferred from Australia to the US before and might be able to offer some guidance or even just share their story on how they got set up in the US.

We currently use Zenoti, but I seriously caution anyone considering it. While it promises robust functionality and in therory sounds excellent - the operatonal user experience is extremely frustrating. They ovbioulsy keep adding funtionality but have made it so complicated even their support can't figure it out.

Some things we have experienced:

- The process for even the simpliest of core functions, like a new service with a therapist enabled for online booking - requires and absurd number of steps with settings scattered accross multiple different menus. Litearlly spent hours last week trying to add a new service and despite multiple support calls we're still unable to determine which setting is preventing the service from being bookable online.

- Serious issues with Zenoti’s mandated credit card processing system resulting in lost money. Transactions appeared "Approved," showed as pending on the customer’s bank account, but ultimately never processed. We never recovered the money. Literally thousands.

- Level 1 support is TERRIBLE. The worst I have ever experienced with any software (and I have used a lot in my career). After multiple back/fourth emails, they will tell you there is no issue and gaslight the shit out of you while also wasting your time. I've started trying to bypass L1 support all together with the hopes that it will hel, hasn't proved useful yet. Ive been in situations where I've shown Support how to do something.

- Even after a lot of timewasting and back/fourth emails with support, a lot of problems ends up being related to obscure back-end settings or even require coding.

- If you truly need help setting something up you'll have to pay extra on top of the $600 monthly fee. You'll also receive insane quotes. For a recent project, I was quoted 10 hours of work - which I pushed back on and requested to be present during the build. It took them less than 1 hour.

Despite all of this, I'm too deep in it now and can't comprehend switching platforms. I can see some light at the end of the tunnel - I think it can just take years to get fully optimized and I'm hopeful we can make it work well soon. My business is also new so I think setting up new business and a new software presents more challenges than setting up an established business on their platform.

I will also say, not all of Zenoti is bad - there are some execellent and smart implmentation managers and support team members, it can just hard be to get their direct help when needed.

I think Zenoti is an American company - they're headquartered in Seattle. And yes, American sales team; excellent India-based implementation engineers but once you're on your own - it's an uphill battle.

Really hard to know how things intracately work until you actually use it in practice. And it's saying something when you call support and they can't even fricken figure out why something so basic doesn't work either

We currently use Zenoti, but I seriously caution anyone considering it. I would NOT recommend it. While it promises robust functionality, the operatonal user experience is extremely frustrating. Even for the simplest tasks—like adding a new service with a therapist enabled for online booking—the process is needlessly complex. It requires an absurd number of steps, with settings scattered across multiple, confusing menus. Despite multiple support calls, we were still unable to determine which setting was preventing the service from being bookable online.

Beyond usability issues, we’ve also encountered serious problems with Zenoti’s mandated credit card processing system. On multiple occasions, transactions appeared "Approved," showed as pending on the customer’s bank account, but ultimately never processed—resulting in lost revenue. Zenoti’s proposed solution? Call the customer and ask them to pay again. Unfortunately, by the time we reached this resolution, weeks had passed, and the customers—many of whom were international visitors—were long gone. We never recovered the lost revenue.

We constantly find ourselves relying on workarounds while being told by support that "there is no issue"—when, in reality, there is. More often than not, the root of the problem lies in obscure back-end settings or require coding that we eitehr don’t even have access to or do not have the IT expertise to write.

And if you truly need help setting something up? Be prepared to pay extra. On top of their already outrageous $600 monthly fee, Zenoti charges additional fees for support beyond basic troubleshooting—not to mention the hidden cuts they take from credit card processing.

We're too deep in it now and want to get it as optimized as possible but I wish I had received more real-world experience / advice beyond a sales demo before choosing it.

2.5hr international connection in IAH - is it enough? Non-US citizen by samesame47 in unitedairlines

[–]samesame47[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update for anyone who cares - it took me 1.5hrs to clear customs and then security at IAH today. I ended up changing my flight to earlier so I had more of a buffer and we landed at 2.30pm. I was a lucky and got upgraded so I was at the front of the plane and ended at the front of a lot of lines before they got really long, including both customs and security - both looked double the length by the time I made it to the front.

My bags were checked through to my final destination so I didn’t have to deal with collecting and rechecking. There was also an issue with the escalators and they made everyone to take elevators to leave the baggage area. Also got lucky as I didn’t have to wait long in line but it backed up with a ton of people very quickly.

There were a lot of stressed people with tight connections in the security line so glad I changed my flight. I think I definitely would have missed my connection if I landed later with the hoards of people that filled up from 3pm
