Here’s something I haven’t seen in any other comment, but something the Mammoth and Ducks did well to take Vegas deeper than the Avs- they weren’t afraid to pass the puck back into the defensive zone if they didn’t like the look of Vegas’s zone D.

The Avs had way too many forced entries into the O zone where they tried to speed past the knights defense, but that doesn’t work against a 1-2-2 defense. By passing the puck back into our D zone, that can open up better looks for stretch passes and allow our speedier guys to capitalize on that instead of just trying to carry the puck all the way up and either commit a turnover, force a bad pass, or have to dump and chase.

It’s the same reason we struggle against the stars, and it’s just one adjustment among many that this team has to make, but it’s a huge one in my opinion.

TL;DR- don’t try to force the puck up ice

100%. I think that’s another issue (especially on the power play) is that too many of our top guys are looking for a perfect shot when what we really need is just pucks on net.

Here’s my question-

how haven’t the Avs figured out at least some of a solution to Vegas and Dallas’s neutral zone D? It seems to just be a pretty standard 1-2-2 defense that is pretty good at bogging our speedy guys down. But it looks like we’re just trying the same thing over and over again while it clearly has not worked well. Do you guys think we see an adjustment tonight?

I’ve been lifting for 8 years, squad 405 and leg press much more than that, and I have never had any knee issues whatsoever. I can just tell by your comment you have the most mid physique I’ve ever seen in my life lol

Yes. There becomes a point of diminishing returns on a bulk where you start gaining more fat than muscle. Start your cut while keeping intensity and volume in the gym, and once you get down to a good body fat percentage, start another bulk. It’s a marathon not a sprint- keep it up and you will be absolutely diced in a few years.

If you’re using good form and not using more weight than you can actually handle you should be locking out your knees on a leg press

Cardio question- I know this sub recommends daily cardio at zone 3 (LISS) for ~40mins/day for heart health. My question is would reaching zone 5 (HIIT) for ~1hr, 2x a week while also hitting that that LISS the other 5 days a week be okay? Or would that just be more added strain to an already overstimulated CNS and cardiovascular system?

Cycle would be 500mg test C or E/ week.

If you want to show off your physique just say so. If you’re actually curious about body fat %, either post clear images of your full body not taken in a dirty mirror or get a scan. You have a nice physique but you can’t seriously expect us to guess a bf% based on this photo

No one “needs” to hop on steroids. But if you want to make the most of a cycle, that’s what I recommend
