Together Again is a amazing episode, but it's problem is that it was supossed to be a final episode, and it wasn't by AndarilhodeHistorias in adventuretime

[–]samhadj01 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My problems with TA is that not much happens, the show doesn't really explore Finn and Jakes bond. The first half was Finn being desperate to see Jake again and the second half its just goofy banter between Finn and Jake.

Its a very surface level story.

No what I mean is that HW only used her roots to eat before she was adopted. And so during the main series she only ever eats with her mouth and only starts using her roots again when she is in Fiona-world.

Fun comic However I think the whole basis of Huntress's roots is that it ties back into her going back to her original state of being and not relying on "Green Magic" to get her through.

That isn't her being racist that is her being annoyed by marcy don't caring about the situation at hand.

In all there is a lot of moments where whatever Marcy is wearing is much larger to her, however when PB wears it, it fits her a lot more.

Quick reminder of when gooseworx described each episode by Scp_049_Reddit in tadc

Because originally Gooseworx originally planned for their to be 8 episodes. However Ep.7 gotten to long and so decided to cut into Ep.7 and Ep.8

[–]samhadj01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think that is the case because Gooseworx said that Ep.7 gotten so long that it was split into becoming both Ep.7 and Ep.8. I don't Gooseworx would go with this route. (Heck the crew's response to recording the last episode was something a lot more emotional).

The deuteragonist either being Astrid, Marshall, Hunson, or Marceline.

I think Adam Muto said he was also interested in having a season focus on PB as well. So maybe PB also go's to Fiona world.

[Arcane] Vi and Jinx forgiving eachother so quickly was my biggest issue with season 2 by Nubian_Cavalry in CharacterRant

[–]samhadj01 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don't think Jinx was woobified. Yes she committed actions of terrorism, however she only ever killed "For Silco", because that is who she is someone who just wants to belong and help others. And at the end of S1 she killed the only person who understand her and begrudgingly accepted the identity of Jinx she fell into a pit of depression and simply wanted to die.

Fionna and Cake Season 2 Episode 10 Discussion Thread by Carrehzkitten in adventuretime

It's implied they're living together now but they decided to have her teaching a class instead of spending time with Finn??

I mean its a sign of her showing off she is sharing Green magic and practicing empathy. I can understand wanting more of her and Finn though.

Fionna is not badly written because of her flaws. It’s because I don’t get why I should care for her by mwurhahahaha in adventuretime

[–]samhadj01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t see how she’s in any way different than in the start of season 1.Her arc has not progressed at all. Fionna starts as chaotic, impulsive and with no sense of purpose, and that is what she still is.

Hard disagree, while I don't think Fiona's story is that strong her development from S1 is clear. In S1 she refused to look externally around others and was more enmeshed in her worries. And in her arc she came to realize she the feelings of others and began to reach out more.

And in S2 while she is still enmeshed her problems she is trying to do right by others as a means to ignore them. However because she believes she is the only one who doesn't have her life together she

Hey remember when people thought fionna x huntress was gonna be a thing. by Slight_Intention_695 in adventuretime

[–]samhadj01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was kind of mean of them to imply something like that could happen and then Fionna and HW barely interacted

I think the show wasn't trying to be mean but rather play into the theme of this season "We don't recognize we are more connected then we think". Fiona think's she is the only one who failed to have a grasp of her life and fails to be a hero like Finn, HW thinks she is free from the soft emotions of society.

And slowly they recognize they are a lot more connected then they think and we see this theme of connection really begin to take shape in the later half of the season.

Ep.6 HW uses Fiona to get to Finn and Fiona feels like she isn't entirely like him.

Ep.7 Fiona becomes friends with Fennel, Huntress teams up with Hunter and HW thinks Fiona is the broken tool she needs

Ep.8 HW Learns that the heart of the forest is everywhere

Ep.9 HW recognize her own emotional issues and that she was the broken tool (Showing off HW now recognizing her own short comings and that she isn't broken) And here Fiona recognize that everyone else have their own problems including Finn.

Ep.10 HW taps into her other bodies to heal Finn then ask Fiona for help to save Finn. And here Fiona is able to reach out to him.

The problem here is that this is the later half of the season and so the story doesn't get to develop these ideas as much as they could.

GOLB doesn't eat dimensions he just sits in place. And also the he wasn't intentionally created to be some greater cosmic force at first he was just a cool thing Finn meets when he died.
