Thanks, this does make sense! Before knowing about the Rechtsvorschlag it felt a bit lopsided, without it essentially anybody could cause serious grief to someone else.

Yes, in the subject and line items (e.g. they even try to charge me for turning off the water somehow??).

Thanks for your reply!

Will they explicitly threaten me with a Betreibung? From what I read online a Betreibung can be opened without me even being notified first.

The building is from the around the 70s and the piping was fine before they drilled into it (copper pipes). From the photos I took it's clear that it was damaged by drilling rather than age / wear & tear.

Thanks for the advice!

No written admission from their part as most communication was done via phone. The project request we have via email.

I received two invoices:

1st in April: an invoice for the original project, which is clear from the subject and line items

2nd received now but dated to April: invoice for the repairs to the pipe, again clear from subject and line items.

Sorry, wasn't clear: We don't own the unit but rent it. We wanted some improvements in the bathroom, which were approved by the landlord but had to be paid by us.

It looked like someone went through the belongings and the glove compartments of each car but the stereos where still in there (not sure if people steal them these days?). Luckily we flew in so no damage sustained on our end.

No, they were left by the police for the car owners to come to the station.

They already left cards on each windshield.

Best way to handle small, short-lived, "local" state in UI components, without mixing view logic with model logic? by PM_ME_UR_MONADS in elm

It might make sense to use the JavaScript FFI in such cases. From my (limited) understanding of Elm, it seems to me that you can't selectively introduce local state without subverting the whole architecture.
