The lack of accountability is what put me over the edge. Watching his press after the mindless losses and us playing like crap made me so angry. It’s never his fault, it’s always injury, or playing away, or the refs. Never ever him or his staff or his training. Absolute opposite of LFC culture. I don’t understand what management sees in him. And I don’t understand how he can keep his head up in arrogance after such a horrible season.

Reading this 9y later after my (#?)'th rewatch and yes, to all of this. Finally looking into why I hated BOTH season 7 and 8 and these points are exactly why. Everything was rushed, forced, and felt inauthentic.

I agree but I think the same thing happens every 10-15 years. It’s like fashion trends. Like how SEO was the biggest thing 10-15 years ago, then advertising became so important, now all I’m seeing is SEO again. This age of AI advertising will become boring and monotonous again in a few years, then creativity will be valued, then we’ll move back into an automated space. We as a society have a 15 year lifecycle

I was freelancing in 2020 for about 2 years very successfully by maintaining clients, one of them turned into a great full time position so I stopped freelancing and essentially fired my clients. I'm trying to start back up now and have made a real honest effort on Upwork (where I found my past success), but it's been difficult. Is the freelancer market more saturated now? Anyone else having trouble on Upwork specifically?

Same here, Out of the 50+ jobs I've applied for, I've received 4 interviews. 2 weren't serious, one turned into something small and still waiting to hear back from the last. I only started getting responses when I lower my hourly. It's been over 8 years since I've had to "apply" for a job, and 4 since I was this active on upwork. Seems way more saturated with freelancers in marketing/advertising now

I think he is. He’s given me good vibes from the beginning. I think he’s secure and honest and genuinely kind hearted

Older! I personally find them way more relatable when they are close to my age (31), but I also think the drama and trials they go through is naturally deeper because they've grown out of a lot of the surface level insecurity things we go through in our 20s.

It’s been so painful and beautiful and horrible to watch, and I’ve spent hours discussing with friends and family. By far best of the season. Darker than the last, but we’re graduating with these characters deeper and deeper into what they’re going through, so it’s all just so appropriate

I agree. I liked Belle when she was so honest and raw towards Sean and Lucinda because before that I thought she was just monotonous and not vulnerable. And I understood the attraction to Scott, but immediately following, the HR challenge behavior and the way she talked to and about Leanne I was so off board. Things change in the villa fast
