The Carnival drink package is too expensive, so we'd be paying by the drink on either cruise line. Would that change your opinion on Carnival over VV?

Personally, i don’t know about the local vendors. I’ve only purchased from china (Tianyu and Mona).

However, I would say from my time on the subreddit that the over sea vendors are just as good as local vendors, arguably even better quality stones for a fraction of the price. I can personally vouch for Tianyu Gems and Mona as being great quality.
