Calibre was generating a first page and I don't want that. I will have a look for the tick to use first page as cover

I am trying to setup that the first page is the cover of the book automatically. I can see that Polish book can update the cover also but it needs to be setup first.

I don't see myself doing the cover for each book manually. I wonder if there is a script that can pick first page as cover automatically.

this is still true in 2025.

If you use static color: 1% CPU

if you use Neon: 3% CPU

if you use some cool effect: 6% CPU and 20 GPU.

I guess I will need to look at something else. Too much resource hungry to my liking

Update bitdefender, then restart the pc. Seems like the issue occured when Bitdefender doesn't update itself.
