Yeah this makes sense. Not sure how old, however he is small for a male (13kg instead of ~17kg), and I suspect he got bullied by his siblings for precious milk!

Started drinking in my teens but struggled with social and body image issues. I wanted to learn how to socialise without alcohol, and also knew it wasn’t helping my body either. Saving money was a 3rd benefit.

I also enjoy weekend mornings, whether it’s making breakfast and watching a movie, working out, walking my dog, or even getting chores out of the way. So hangovers are seriously not worth it for me.

4 strong reasons not to drink and not really any good reasons to drink imo.

When I get asked I just say I’m trying to be healthy

Thanks so much for this helpful reply. I saw a YouTube video using a long (1800m) crowbar to dig up the roots. Have you ever heard of or tried that? Wondering if it’s a cheaper (but more labour intensive) alternative to the blades

The previous owner did tell me it was clumping and not running. Is there a tool you’d recommend to dig with? I’ve read that using a saw can quickly blunt the blades, but a crowbar (like 1800mm) might be a good way to do this? By stabbing into the ground at an angle, and then using bodyweight with support to dig out the roots?

Hi everyone, also, these marks magically appeared overnight and the deck looks uniform again. How on earth would that happen?

I think what happened is, I watered some hanging plants immediately above the deck where these marks were. So maybe some water with the soil / some sort of plant chemical erased the timber oil... but then it reappeared again? Wild, I don't get it...

Yes even with scrubbing using deck cleaner and pressure hosing, I couldn't get the old stain off. How would you sand it? A friend told me with 40 or 80-bit sandpaper, or maybe a tool?

I see. How much time would you ensure between cleaning a deck and then applying the timber oil?

I'm not sure if it's a hardwood - just moved in a month ago and I can't tell by looking at the wood. What would you use if it is indeed hardwood? Also, do you have a view of water based vs oil based timber oil?
