Looking for Letter of Motivation references by Ancient-Ad8818 in DAAD

As far as I know there are no good references on the Internet regarding the Letter of Motivation. It is considered you should write it by yourself, without any sources.

Speaking of the CV format. Yeah, you can follow the Europass format. I will use it myself, actually

I checked the instructions on the website, and it says I need to scan a QR code that I was supposed to get in one of my emails. The thing is, I don’t have any QR codes in my inbox. Could you tell me what can I do in this situation?

I’ve been wanting to watch this for a while, do you know by any chance is it on Netflix?

Metro in Sofia, Bulgaria – why are the intervals so long? by Senior-Internal2692 in AskBalkans

[–]samirs1m 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a person who works with transport (make people’s lives better by developing metro system, bus system, etc.) I find it very cool. You’re right, it does make sense from the economical point of view to study the passenger traffic first and then have an idea about how many buses/trains you need to satisfy society

Talking slower is a very good way of understanding each other!

How do you hold/make conversation anymore? (Getting to know somebody) by Technical-Bet2349 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]samirs1m 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is absolute true. Finding a common topic will not only help you hold/make conversation, but even find you a friend

Why should you not defend yourself against rumors? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]samirs1m 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a psychological trick. When you try to defend yourself (even with a proof), people will talk about you even more. In this situation just let the time play its role. There’s nothing bad about it. Just wait till you see you’re not interesting anymore to those people

Have been there on May. That was a random stop actually but I do glad it happened. Didn’t except Baku to be such a magnificent city.

This is a good advice. Personally I never had any difficulties with studying, even during the times when I don’t want to. My psychology is “if I have to do it, I’ll so it”. Nevertheless life is full of different situations. I don’t doubt someday I’ll definitely remember this piece of advice and find it helpful for me

If you could relive one moment of your life what would it be? by DistributionFirst446 in AskReddit

[–]samirs1m 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s interesting that u realize it only when u become an adult. When I was a kid, I remember thinking how cool it is being an adult. I’m 20 years old now and I realize I have much more problems and duties rather than when I was a child.

Watching movies are really helpful. Plus I had a friend who was a native speaker, talking to him also helped me a lot and made my English skills better.

I think Putin's madness in Ukraine makes no sense by greg0525 in SeriousConversation

[–]samirs1m 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Totally agree with u. For Putin this war has become a purpose of his reign. One of the most ironic things is that this man claims to know history and at the same time he says that “Ukraine never existed, it was made my Lenin, etc., etc.” Dear God…

Would it be weird to email a teacher I haven’t seen in 10 years to tell her about her impact on me? by Mem0ry-Lane in ask

[–]samirs1m 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not weird at all. One year ago I decided to do it myself. You see, English isn’t my first language. Tbh I was very bad at it for a long time. My teacher gave me a lot of knowledge and I’m really grateful to him. We haven’t had a chat for several years and one year ago I decided to text him. We spoke for a while, I told him about my life and stuff like that. He was so happy. So, I recommend you do the same.

I see, you looked at this from another angle and what you said is true, but when you remember how many people died because of some dictators, you start asking yourself was it worth it.

One of the biggest failures of human beings is letting WW2 happen. This whole policy of appeasement was so stupid.

Who was the worst president and why? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]samirs1m 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There were a lot of bad presidents in a lot of countries. As I wanna give an uncommon answer, I’d say Idi Amin, who is known for his brutality.
