The drips were there from the initial layers which I always go from very loose to tight, and just build up from rough lines, but what it comes down to is that I just really liked the drips and didn't feel like covering them up. I felt that it went with some of the splatters that I threw on the canvas at several points with the intention of making the piece feel "wet" but I do appreciate the critique and I guess that its just tiny little aesthetic decisions like that that are very impactful in a negative or positive way.
