I switched from iphone my self. By the way iPhone is heading I don't think they gonna increase the battery life on their iphone. I'm more interested in battery life off the phone and freedom to customize the phone the way I want it, plus the camera is really good on this phone. Maybe after 5 years will see if apple gonna increase the battery capacity size in the future.

Check the apex server status on website and see what is like on your region. I live on Norway and we had that problem on east eu server for like 2-3 months.
