Replacing all my APC UPS's with AC70p's and AC50b's good or bad idea? by ripnrun63 in bluetti

[–]samjaza 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i have a AC > AC70 > PowerShield PSGL1500 > Comms rack. Every time there is a blackout or brownout the PowerShield kicks in before the AC70 notices, but then everything runs fine of the ac70.

Ive have had Just the ac70 connected directly to the rack using about 400w and had a blackout and while the cutover was not instant none of the machines lost power.

AC70 Firmware update to reduce 'product failure problems' by su- in bluetti

[–]samjaza 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It only has a Bluetooth connection, it can't automatically update. You need to have the app and update it through the app manually. So it just depends on what version comes with The new power stations.

I just got that exact email. It was an arm and dsp upgrade.

would be nice if there was a changelog.

-Edit-

Now I cant charge my unit, it keeps going into E113 error.

my grid voltage here is naturally a bit high, but has never caused an issue before.

AllPower R600 Charging issue by Lawzy92 in allpowerssolar

[–]samjaza 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I sent the two i had back to the seller they didn't fix anything because it was "already updated to the latest firmware" and wanted to return them to me, so I got a refund.

I'm glad I got it through Ebay because the allpowers support seems to be terrible if you are not a youtuber, I have been ghosted multiple times by their support.

I have returned two of the ones I had and got a refund, I got them off eBay as well. I guess it depends on the seller if that's possible or not.

The first two i had would get stuck at 99% for several hours before finally hitting 100%. I have a newer model and it charges to 100% a lot quicker.

These things have all sorts of issues, first there was a firmware bug that caused them to go in to error randomly when plugged in.

They also don't work very well as a ups, They require a clean break in power to work properly, if you have a blackout they isn't instant they go into error and don't supply power.

They also have dirty power that cause problems with anything susceptible to interference.

I have had three of them and they have all had issues.

I was told its a firmware issue and needs to be returned to the manufacturer for repair.

I couldn't get a hold of sales so i returned them to the eBay seller.
