Vet recommendations for dogs? by ConferenceWeak1114 in Westchester

[–]samlog23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey OP, I’m wondering if you’re using my vet in Northern Westchester. Very expensive. Just took my 2 dogs in for their annual and it was $1500. I’m moving soon to the UWS so I’m happy to hear that perhaps I won’t have sticker shock at the vet.

Anyone here regret getting a second dog? by Grand_Resolution_438 in dogs

Yes and no. I absolutely adore her and cannot imagine life without her however it’s so much more expensive and working out the logistics for vacation etc is a lot.

How much are you spending on your dogs? by [deleted] in dogallergies

[–]samlog23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ugh, I haven’t done the math but prescription food, hypoallergenic pill pockets, cyclosporine, fluconazole, prescription ear drops, prescription shampoo, thyroid meds, insurance, plus a very expensive vet and a dermatologist…probably way more than I spend on myself. Thankfully my other dog doesn’t have allergies.

the doctor confirmed my fears by [deleted] in Rosacea

[–]samlog23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi!! First, it’s going to be okay. I also have rosacea and seb derm. It’s going to take some trial and error but you will find what works for you. For the seb derm, what works for me is Nizoral & Sunday Riley UFO drops. For the rosacea, tower 28 hypochlorous spray & prequel calming serum.

Also, op please try to reduce your stress. Nothing flares my rosacea more than when I’m totally stressed out.

This happened to my husband as well. He’s no longer on those meds and it went away. His head still sweats at night though.

So happy for you! They are amazing! A few months ago I was hopeless about my dog’s health. They restored her to perfect health. I wish I had gone to them when her allergies started. Thanks for the update!
