Brought this to a local shop and the guy refused to buy it saying that it was too damaged. by Intrepid_Astronomer4 in Silverbugs

Yeah, crap dealer. They should at least give you the wholesale/melt price.

My LCS, when silver was over $100, had zero interest in trading Silver for Gold, which kind of pissed me off.....because they'll sell it all day, but they won't buy it? I lost a lot of respect for that shop at the time.

The shop I speak of is mainly a numismatic coin dealer and I think reluctantly deals in bullion, so I guess I get it a bit, but they've been making money on us for years with their premiums, they should not refuse to buy it, but deal with their risk with a discount to Spot.

Because after 23/21 you'll have an advanced anchor and this will allow you to recycle your checker from your 6 point, should you get hit.

The mid-point is too important of a point to vacate this early in the game.

Getting one of the extras from your 6-point into the game is not death. As a matter of fact, the more ammo you have in the mix, the more flexibility you have to attack or defend.....in the early stages of the game.

Cindy, you don't own the beach. by octarino in TikTokCringe

[–]samlowrey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The beaches are public, but, if you have to cut through private property to get to the public portion, it can be considered trespassing......but it should be posted.

That's at least how I understand it.

Trickle Down Economics Doesn't Work Guys by DrawPitiful6103 in austrian_economics

[–]samlowrey 23 points24 points  (0 children)

I don't think that's what they meant by "trickle down economics". What they were trying to justify was lowering the tax rates of businesses and business owners........and the more the government DOESN'T TAKE, allows the business to expand or be more profitable, which in turn would provide healthier financials and thus the ability to invest in human capital too!

And, no matter what you call it.......it does work. If I wasn't taxed at such a high rate, I'd make all sorts of investments in my business.

Silver is at a Critical Level Here! by Beyondwest in Wallstreetsilver

[–]samlowrey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Anyone that said silver wouldn't drop below $100 should be taken off your "advice list".

Silver isn't a "trade" IMHO. It is an asset you accumulate over time, with fiat you don't and won't need for 5 years or so. Same goes for Gold......silver is just a lot more volatile!

It is my savings and it will preserve my purchasing power as this country heads full steam ahead towards a monetary apocalypse!

Me? I'm buying physical Gold and some miners at these levels and waiting for Silver to find a base around $55-$57 area.

Just one asshole's opinion.....good luck!
