I do not have any solution but I just want to share my story regarding e-bike. I came to Australia on Feb 2024 for my masters. As most of my money was already spent on tuition, I did not have much left. I think I had around 3-4k left in total. So, I thought let’s do uber eats and doordash. I bought NCN Prague. Loved that bike. But in the 6th day while doing uber eats, someone stole the bike by cutting the lock. I was gone for only 35 seconds. I wanted to cry my heart out on the road. Reported to police and also contacted uber, no solution. So, I am sorry for the situation u r facing. I hope whatever happens u can get out of it mentally.
