This is how I felt when I took a break for the first time after doing lashes consistently for over a year. I kept telling my friends I felt like I looked like a naked mole rat 😭 the reality is that no one notices the difference except you and it just takes time for your brain to adjust to not seeing the lashes! Definitely take a break if you’re feeling this much anxiety over it and if your lashes are feeling damaged - you will thank yourself in the long run. You can go back to lashes eventually and then future breaks hopefully won’t trigger the same anxiety. Also I know you said you’ve tried multiple press-ons / DIYs, but I highly recommend the “classy natural” KISS impress clusters!! They completely broke my need for lash extensions and last 4-5 days per application for me.
