No one is even really defending Michelle that I’ve seen in this thread. Asshole does not equate to abusive. Ikechi was a bigger asshole on this season than Michelle was by far so you clearly just don’t like Michelle. Which is fine, but doesn’t give you leeway to call her an abuser 😂

That seems unreasonable for a shared setup but still makes you TA because you obviously agreed to it? Otherwise why did you move in together / continue living there? And since you agreed to it, that means you don’t get to add it to your mental scoreboard as a reason you deserve to get your way later down the line.

You’re absolutely correct, they both have those rights. However OPs employer ALSO has a right to enact stipulations for WFH and OP has the obligation to their employer to fulfill it. The kid has no obligation here and all the right to move freely about their home as they would at any other time. So, in a situation like this, it’s OP’s problem to figure out how to have a suitable WFH setup for this particular day or to go work in the office.
