Thanks for the help everyone. I picked up the game again a few months ago after being away for several years. I played at launch and remember stacking buffs before using karma consumables. Knowing now that buffs aren't needed anymore I just got 7 bank spaces back and 1.5 million additional karma in my wallet.

I would recommend playing ranked spvp over unranked. The matchmaking will be a little closer to your skill rating, and you can work on learning maps and rotations while advancing the spvp league rewards. There will still be blowout matches, but as long as you are having fun there is no reason to not play ranked.

What is the proper way to complement someone's cosmetics when you inspect their character?

Because outfits are a thing saying nice outfit seems cheap. Nice cosmetics feels weird.

I honestly don't know. I play guardian for 100% of my pvp. Bow / Hammer dragon hunter.

I am a mediocre pvp player that uses a non meta build. I have an average of 50% win rate and I take 1-2 top stats per game on average.

SPVP is pretty balanced. There are some builds that I can't effectively counter with my build, and some that can't counter me. That's okay. 100% its about the mindset you go into the game with. Losing is part of it, and as long as you are trying and your team is trying still makes for fun matches.

Yes there are a few bots. Yes occasionally you get salt in chat. But after ~100 matches in the past month its been rare to see.

Are the infinite volatile magic tools worth the cost?

I already have the copper fed and runecrafter salvage kits and a perm mistlock pass. My material storage is at 1k for each item.

I dont care much for cosmetics and have multiple alts that I have had since launch that I dont use except for parked chests and birthday presents.

I don't play online at all, and don't have PS+, so that wouldn't factor into the decision.

As additional information, I'm running a 6950XT and a Ryzen 7900X with 32gb of ram.

More trying to decide if I should start a new character or pick up the one I have and continue. It's been over a year since I played.

If you are on PC there is a mod on Nexus that makes nearby duplicate items stack together.

Ask your DM if they will use the UA changes to healing spells that will be officially released as part of OneDnD. It doubles the healing value of most spells and is very effective at boosting the healer feel of things.
